Happy Valley
Whakapapa Ski Area is home to Happy Valley, New Zealand's largest beginner ski and snow play area. Here you can spend the day experiencing the best that a family winter holiday has to offer with ski and snowboard lessons, sledding, tossing snowballs and buidling snowmen!

Intermediate and Advanced Skiing
For intermediate skiers, there are snow filled basins, steep chutes and wide open slopes to enjoy. There are also well over 24 black and double black diamond runs to satisfy the extreme skier and snowboarders. 

Night Skiing
Ski under the stars on Friday and Saturday nights with a Whakapapa Night Skiing pass.

Schuss Haus Café
Boasting breathtaking views of Mt Ngauruhoe, the Schuss Haus is a cosy refurbished ski chalet designed to be your favourite new spot after you get off the slopes. Enjoy a well earned beer and tasty Mexican food whilst enjoying live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

New Zealand's Highest Café - Knoll Ridge Cafe
Situated at 2,020m above sea level, Whakapapa Ski Area's Knoll Ridge Cafe is New Zealand’s highest cafe. Here you will find great coffee, tasty treats and incredible views overlooking the Pinnacles and out over the Central Plateau. The Knoll Ridge Café is accessible to sightseers via a brand new $25 million gondola which opens on 1 June, 2019.
