TRENZ 2026

TRENZ is New Zealand’s largest international tourism business event and the most important event of the year on the tourism events calendar. TRENZ brings hundreds of international travel buyers together to meet with New Zealand’s leading tourism operators (sellers) over three days to build or renew relationships and negotiate business for upcoming seasons. TRENZ 2026 will be held from 19-21 May in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

TRENZ 2026 will be held at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC).

TRENZ is managed by Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA) as the authorised agent of the Tourism Industry New Zealand Trust, supported by Tourism New Zealand and in partnership with Air New Zealand.  

The event programme will include:

• Up to 52 15-minute appointments between buyers and sellers
• Multiple networking opportunities
• Pre and post-TRENZ buyer famil opportunities

• Thursday 2 October 2025 - Sellers registrations open
• Wednesday 5 November 2025 - Buyers Applications open
• Thursday 20 November 2025 - Sellers Registrations close
• Wednesday 17 December 2025 - Final Payment due for Sellers
• Wednesday 28 January 2025 - Buyers applications close
• Monday 16 February 2026 - 100% cancellation fee applies
• Tuesday 10 March 2026 - Appointment requests open
• Monday 16 March 2026 - 100% cancellation fee applies
• Tuesday 31 March 2026 - Appointment requests close
• Tuesday 21 April 2026 - Appointment schedules live
• Monday 18 May 2026 - Buyers and Sellers to arrive  in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland
• Monday 18 May 2026 - Official welcome pōwhiri
• Tuesday 19 to Thursday 21 May 2026 - TRENZ 2026

Guidelines:

• Keep the template for consistency (layout, colour, background, font, Love Taupō logo).
• Change pictures - limit to 4 pictures max (for accommodation: an overview of the hotel, a room, the restaurant)
• For the information, keep it concise and operational
• Include up to 5 USPs (Being NZ owned and operated is not a USP)

• Once modifications have been done, send back (in ppt format) to geraldine@lovetaupo.com by 31 March 2026

If you have already submitted your one pager for another event, we will reuse the same for the whole year, so please only send it once (unless there has been some changes to your product).
