The 10km trail follows the Otaketake Stream and winds through native bush towards Whangamata Road, with stunning views across Lake Taupo and back towards Kinloch and Mt Tauhara. The new trail connects the Kawakawa Section of the Great Lake Trails (K2K Trail + Orakau Trail) and will take riders back to Kinloch via the beautiful Kawakawa Bay.
