An Evening with the Author - Monty Soutar

We are hosting an event soon "An Evening with the Author - Monty Soutar on Tuesday 13 May at Tongariro Junction Convention Cente in Tūrangi. Dr Monty Soutar is one of New Zealand's leading Māori military historians and will be with us for the evening to share with us the how and why he took on the Kāwai historical fiction series which followed his success in writing non-fiction historical accounts, 'Nga Tama Toa - The Price of Citizenship, C Company 28 (Māori) Battalion 1939-1945', and 'Whitiki, Whiti, Whiti, E – Māori in the first World War' from a Māori perspective.
