Top 10 ways to enjoy Taupō year-round

Winter, summer, spring and autumn, Taupō is a true year-round destination where you’ll never be short on ‘what to do or where to go next’.

While Kiwis flock to Taupō in summer to enjoy the beaches and their favourite water sports on the lake, spring, autumn and winter offer the perfect conditions for many other outdoor and indoor activities in the Taupō region.
