Tourism and hospo will unite at the newly minted Regional Food Showcase highlighting the diversity and flavours of the vibrant Taupō food scene.  

The Regional Food Showcase is a test kitchen, designed to offer a taste of what makes Taupō standout as a visitor destination, Love Taupō GM Patrick Dault says. 

“For its size, Taupō has an exceptional range and number of top-notch restaurants, cafes and eateries. They help define our destination experience — for our local community as much as our visitors,” he says. “Through the Hui a Tāpoi showcase, we want to show off some of that to our tourism industry so they can in turn be better equipped to recommend to their customers.”
