Join us for Hui a Tāpoi 2026, a regional industry event designed to bring together tourism operators, hospitality businesses, retail teams, and industry stakeholders across the Taupō visitor economy.
Hui a Tāpoi aims to strengthen collaboration across the local tourism sector and create opportunities for businesses to connect, share knowledge, and promote their tourism products.
The programme will include three key components:
A one-day conference exploring the wider tourism landscape in Aotearoa New Zealand and highlighting the importance of regional collaboration within the visitor economy.
An industry marketplace where tourism operators can present their products and services to visitor-facing staff from accommodation providers, hospitality businesses, retail outlets, and other tourism organisations.
The event will also introduce the Taupō Famil Week initiative, encouraging tourism and hospitality staff to experience local products through special industry offers.
This initiative aims to strengthen knowledge of Taupō tourism experiences and encourage stronger local advocacy for the region.
We look forward to working together with the industry to strengthen the Taupō visitor economy through collaboration and shared knowledge.
