Four unique off-site venue spaces

In the Taupō region, you will find a range of unique locations that can be tailored to fit your function. Picture walking into a venue with your peers and being in awe of your surroundings; that’s how these four meeting spaces will make you feel! From a luxury charter to a stain-glass sculpture garden, your clients and colleagues will be raving about these venues for years to come.

Lava Glass Amphitheatre

Explore the artistry and magic of glassblowing at Lava Glass. The studio, art gallery and sculpture garden will captivate your guests as they’re surrounded by moving and static pieces of art, all created in-house by master glass artist Lynden Over and his team.

With over 600 pieces featured, your group will be captivated walking through the sculpture garden and its kaleidoscope of colours, which in 2018 was awarded national ‘garden of significance’ status. A studio tour is available for a closer look at how these delicate creations are curated.

With the capacity to cater for up to 400 guests, the on-site Lava Glass Café can complete the experience with delectable finger foods.

Broadlands Lodge

For an event with a more rustic, down-to-earth atmosphere, Broadlands Lodge is an exceptional choice. Able to host up to 200 guests, this refurbished barn in the middle of the countryside makes for a memorable experience. Large French doors lead to an open plan room - the walls are a combination of timber and corrugated iron; a true Kiwi venue.

Bar service and catering are available onsite, using fresh ingredients from the Lodge’s own garden.

Two Mile Bay Sailing Club

Known as a Taupō icon, the Two Mile Bay Sailing Club is for groups that desire a summer beverage in style. Over the water of Lake Taupō, the club can’t be beaten for its atmosphere on a summer's afternoon; a cold Peroni in one hand and a slice of wood-fired pizza in the other. Able to cater for 90+ guests, encourage your peers to wear dress-shorts or jandals to make the most of this venue right on the lakefront.

Regal Flyer

Indulge your group in a luxurious experience on Lake Taupō with the Regal Flyer charter. This boutique boat is the perfect setting for business and relaxation, whether your event is for staff rewards, a product launch or team building. Cruise across Lake Taupō to crystal clear secluded bays or the magnificent Ngātoroirangi Māori Rock Carvings, then add on fishing, paddle boarding or water sports for a truly unique day on the water.

With high-level service from the Captain and Crew, this exquisite charter can carry up to 70 guests (or 11 overnight), fully catered.
