Taupo is a great place to base yourself for the crossing. You have a range of places to stay, eat and have fun including soaking in the hot pools! We can pick up form most accommodation providers if it is central, if not we can pick up from the Taupo isite. This is a easy way to get to and from the crossing. If you are a fast or slow hiker you may prefer to take our Ketetahi park n ride. Pick up in the afternoon is around 3:30pm-4:00pm (confirmed on the day) This gives you 8 hours to complete the track.
