Head Guide Dave Wood is a member of the NZPFGA (New Zealand Professional Fishing Guide Association) and holds a current First Aid Certificate. He has fished all his life and has worked as a professional guide for well over a decade. Former proprietor of the Waitahanui Loge on the shores of Lake Taupo and now a senior guide at Poronui Ranch. Dave Wood contracts to all the lodges around the Central North Island (Huka Loge, Treetops lodge to mention some). He has excellent fishing knowledge and has got that genuine Kiwi bloke attitude that makes him a great fishing companion for a day or a week.
