Half Day Tongariro Alpine Guided Group Hike - Adrift Tongariro

Experience the majestic Tongariro National Park as you follow your expert guide across the Tongariro Alpine Crossing for a view of the volcanic landscape during this 4-hour trek. Meet Adrift Tongariro Base. Mt. Ngauruhoe’s cold water springs create a small oasis of lush yellow mountain buttercups & white foxgloves & the pure Soda Springs allows us to refill our water bottles with Tongariro pure spring water, whilst having morning tea. Here we will talk and show you all things relevant to Tongariro & New Zealand including recent & past eruptions, geology, flora & fauna discovery and settlement of New Zealand. At Soda Springs there may be the option to upgrade to the full day walk if conditions & logistics allow. No outdoor experience needed.
