Destination Great Lake Taupō Appoints New Consumer Marketing Executive

Destination Great Lake Taupō welcomes Brittney Manunui to the newly created position of Consumer Marketing Executive, effective Monday 12 January 2026.

Brittney Manunui has been announced as Consumer Marketing Executive of Destination Great Lake Taupō

Brittney returns to her home town of Taupō after a decade away developing her career. She is excited to be joining an organisation where “sharing home and whenua with the world,” from a place she loves most is her fulltime job.

Brittney brings to the role a background in communications, e-commerce, digital marketing and project management that is underpinned with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing Management from the University of Otago.

An avid traveller with a curiosity for people and places, Brittney says her career to date has been defined by creative storytelling, brand building and guardianship as well as creating and sharing compelling content and developing and implementing digital marketing strategies.

Destination Great Lake Taupō (DGLT) is the official Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) for the Taupō District. It is responsible for enabling the destination management plan for the Taupō district, enabling the region’s potential through sustainable tourism.
