Taupo Summer Carnival — Back These Christmas Holidays!
The magic returns to Taupo’s Tongariro North Domain as the Taupo Summer Carnival lights up the lakeside nights!
From Boxing Day through to January 7th, the domain transforms into a buzzing wonderland of colour, music, and classic summertime thrills. Including the ALL-NEW ELECTRIC SPEEDWAY! NZ's latest dodgem cars, which will light up the night!
Take a spin on the dazzling Golden Ferris Wheel, scream your way through the Scream Machine, Hurricane & Sizzler, race your mates down the Giant Slide, or keep it timeless on the Carousel. With rides and attractions for all ages, there’s something to keep every member of the family smiling.
Feast on all the carnival favourites — Hot dogs, candy floss, slushies, and loads more — or try your luck at the Sideshow games and see what prizes you can take home.
Entry is free, and rides operate on a coupon system, so you can choose how wild you want to get. Games are cash or EFTPOS.
For the night owls and thrill-seekers, grab a Nightly Super-Pass and enjoy unlimited rides all night (conditions apply).
