Ocean Swim: The Epic

Join us in Taupō for an Epic weekend of open water swimming. Whether you are new to swimming or a seasoned athlete, we have a swim for you. With swim distances ranging from 10 kilometres to 100 metres, we have challenges to suit all ages and abilities.

Children under 12 years old can enter the 100m and 200m events for free – so bring the whole family and make it a day to remember.

The weekend will also bring elite competition to Taupō, as we proudly host Swimming New Zealand’s National Championships across the 10km, 7.5km, 5km, and 2.5km events. In addition, the 2.5km will feature the 2026 Masters Open Water Championships.
