We’re excited to share that planning is now underway for the Kiwi North China 2027 Roadshow, and we’re inviting expressions of interest from North Island RTOs and tourism operators who may be interested in joining us.
Following the success of our previous Kiwi North activities in China, the 2027 Roadshow is proposed to visit five key cities across Greater China:
- Taipei – Monday, 22 March 2027
- Shanghai – Wednesday, 24 March 2027
- Chengdu – Friday, 26 March 2027
- Guangzhou – Monday, 29 March 2027
- Beijing – Wednesday, 31 March 2027
The Roadshow will provide an opportunity for North Island partners to reconnect with key travel trade contacts, strengthen existing relationships, develop new business opportunities, and share the latest destination and product updates with the China market.
The programme is expected to include trade presentations and training sessions, networking opportunities and meetings with key travel partners in each city. We are also working with airline and industry partners to explore additional opportunities around the Roadshow.
This Expression of Interest (EOI) is intended to gauge initial interest only and does not represent a final commitment to participate. Further details regarding the programme, participation costs, and logistics will be shared once planning has been confirmed. At this stage, we are seeking to understand the level of interest from North Island partners to help shape the programme and inform the next stage of planning.
Please note that this Roadshow will be focused on trade engagement, relationship building, agent training, and business development. As such, it will not include a senior delegation. A separate senior delegation visit is planned for later in 2027, providing an opportunity for higher-level strategic engagement and the further development of key market partnerships.
