Our yoga studio is a safe and supported wellness centre for you to learn about and practice yoga that is suitable for everyone from beginners to to those training as yoga teachers. We have a caring and experienced team of teachers who are passionate about teaching yoga and sharing the benefits of what yoga can do for you.
Yoga improves your ability to deal with stress, boosts your immune system, benefits your metabolism, tones and strengthens the body, increases flexibility, improves your cardiovascular system and provides a sense of peace and wellbeing. Yoga practice can also be a great compliment to other physical fitness programme's, the gym or for multi-sport and endurance athletes visiting for the many Lake Taupo events.
Most classes are 90 minutes which includes warm ups, strength and flexibility work followed by restoring and restful asana. We also offer monthly mini workshops on a Saturday morning, full day intensives and guest teacher weekend yoga workshops. We use only quality props that help us create a deeper understanding of each asana, and also enable our yoga instructors to work with people with injury, or limited mobility to get the full benefit of yoga.
