A number of small charter and training operations are also based here along with maintenance providers and a large search and rescue facility. In addition there are two commercial tandem skydiving operators making Taupō Airport the busiest drop zone in New Zealand.

Taupo airport has a public car park adjacent to the terminal building. All parking is free of charge. While secure parking is not currently available, security gates on Anzac Drive are closed at night.

A shuttle service meets each scheduled flight and operates a door to door service. Our comfortable, spacious shuttles seat up to 9 occupants.
