Trout fishing on Lake Taupō with Marty aboard Stratus. Stratus is located at berth 1 at the Taupō boat harbour and within easy reach of excellent fishing spots. Up to 5 passengers recommended. There’s a separate toilet, galley and fridge on board. Complimentary quality fishing tackle and your catch cleaned and bagged. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments and snacks. Stratus is a 28ft Rayglass boat powered by 350hp Mercruiser sterndrive giving an easy cruising speed of 50kph to get you to those fishing spots quickly. Trolling is done with a 4 stroke Honda outboard. Super quiet and fume free. I have the Taupō district fishing licences available and trout smoking is possible.
