50th Jubilee Concert with David Hamilton “Taupō Choral Solid Gold” – Sunday 15th November
This will be our largest and most audacious concert in many years, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Taupō Choral. David Hamilton will be our Musical Director, and he has written a superb song for this event. The first half of the concert will be a selection from “The Messiah” and we will have acclaimed soprano and vocal tutor for the New Zealand Youth Choir, Morag Atchison, performing the arias. The second half content will be a series of Solid Gold hits from our 50 years of concerts. We also have the fabulous Alex Wiltshire returning as our accompanist!
We will also be releasing a special “collectors’ edition” 50th anniversary program that you will need to attend the concert to receive!
