Small Plates Speed Dates is a fresh, hosted dinner-dating experience for singles who want better conversation, great food, and a more natural way to meet new people.
Designed as a relaxed and more grown-up alternative to traditional speed dating, each event brings together singles within a dedicated age band for an evening that feels welcoming, social, and easy to be part of.
Across the night, guests enjoy eight small plates, a welcome drink, and between six and eight new chances to connect. With each round, you meet someone new, enjoy another small plate, and have time for a real conversation without the pressure of a noisy bar or awkward singles night.
The format is hosted from start to finish, with clear rotations, friendly guidance, and a comfortable pace. You do not need to be confident at dating events or know exactly what to say. The food, setting, and structure are all designed to help conversation flow naturally.
After the event, guests can privately indicate who they would like to reconnect with. Contact details are only shared where there is mutual interest, keeping the experience respectful, discreet, and low-pressure.

We may contact suitable waitlisted guests if a place becomes available. Where numbers are carefully balanced, places may be offered based on event fit rather than the exact order in which people joined the waitlist.
# Small Plates Speed Date is a hosted dining event with small plates, conversation rounds and optional post-event mutual matching. Each event is intentionally small and may be grouped by age range and ticket category to support balanced introductions.
By booking, you confirm that you are booking into the correct advertised age range and event format. Ticket categories may be capped separately, and exact equal numbers on the night cannot be guaranteed due to late cancellations, no-shows or other practical changes.
The host may adjust seating, rotations, group arrangements or the number of introductions where needed to protect the quality, comfort or safety of the event. We do not guarantee that every guest will meet every other attendee, that every introduction will be new, or that any introduction will result in a match or further contact.
Guests are expected to behave respectfully, respect boundaries and privacy, and follow reasonable host or venue directions. Contact details are only shared where appropriate consent has been given through the matching process.
