IMM (International Media Marketplace) is a leading global networking event connecting the travel industry with editors, journalists, broadcasters and content creators. For the first time, IMM is coming to Aotearoa New Zealand as part of TRENZ 2026 — an incredible opportunity to share our story on the world stage.

IMM 2026 will be held at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC).

IMM is delivered in partnership with TravMedia, and is made possible by Air New Zealand, Tourism New Zealand and Tātaki Auckland Unlimited.

The event programme will include:

• Up to 24 x 15-minute pre-scheduled appointments with leading international media
• Dedicated exhibition table.

With IMM coming to Auckland in May, our communications team (Victoria & Shona) are preparing to pitch our region's most compelling tourism stories to 30 of the world's leading travel media. And we need your help.

We're looking for:

• New products or experiences launching in 2026/27
• Unique story angles that makes your experience unmissable
• Seasonal hooks, local characters, or behind-the-scenes moments
• Anything new, different, or surprising that a travel journalist would love

No story is too big or too small. The hidden gems we're looking for might be something you do every single day.
