Soothe tired muscles under the waterfall or laze in the natural rock pools, soaking up views of the nearby mighty Waikato River's lush emerald waters. This spot's a total gem loved by both locals and tourists, promising a relaxed vibe no matter the season.

The stream, heated by geothermal activity, flows 1500 meters from its source before merging with the Waikato River and has been a historical bathing and gathering spot for Māori.

Starting from Spa Thermal Park, follow the trail downhill. You'll find changing rooms, lockers, and a coffee kiosk to fuel up. Tip: Avoid the crowds by visiting earlier in the day. Not bathing? Relax on the wooden platforms offering prime views of the steamy natural oasis.
