Review: Home away from home
"Fern Cafe has become our “home away from home” when we are in Taupo. Delicious home cooked food- especially perfect in Winter. Cosy. Today they had 2 soups on offer & fish pie, a Macaroni cheese deliciously looking dish, their famous all day breakfasts & lots of cabinet cakes. Destiny the Barista is amazing! She remembered my friend’s very specific coffee order from 2 months ago & made it perfectly. And they are a very popular cafe!"
We first came here to the Suncourt Plaza for breakfast 14 months ago & discovered all our favourite shops are here as well. We could quite easily start with breakfast - shop all morning then have lunch as well at Fern Cafe!
