Aotango - 'A Century of Tango' On Tour

Enjoy a seamless fusion of tango and world music in ‘A Century of Tango’' on tour, presented by the world-class musicians of AOTANGO.

‘A Century of Tango’ is a musical journey through the evolution of tango, showcasing popular favourites such as El Choclo, Por una Cabeza, and La Cumparsita, to the revolutionary nuevo tango style works of Argentinian composer Ástor Piazzolla.

Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, AOTANGO features violinist Andrew Beer (APO Concertmaster), pianist Somi Kim (NZTrio), double bassist Gordon Hill (APO Section Principal), jazz guitarist Sam Swindells and award-winning accordionist Grayson Masefield.
