If you are interested in books, writing, or both, come along to this free author talk with Australian author, T.D. Kuchel, and be into win!
Venue: Taupō Library Date and time: Saturday 8 October, 3pm Cost: Free Ages: Suitable for all ages. Children require supervision.
T. D. Kuchel is an Australian author, book reviewer and freelance journalist who is touring Aotearoa New Zealand following the release of his novel, The Passage of Conquest. His debut, young adult novel is a historical fantasy about an 18-year-old who becomes marooned in a parallel world, on an island that has been invisible for 400 years.
“If the TV series ‘LOST’ floated your boat, you are going to love The Passage of Conquest!” Leonie Kelsall, Bestselling Australian Author.
Having admired works of time travel and parallel worlds since a young age, T. D. Kuchel brilliantly captures the essence of reality with his fictional tales. Though, also partial to drama and a worthy love story, his tales flicker with romance and suspense.
Hear about the real-life adventures that inspired his novel and about Kuchel’s life in The Barossa Valley, where he enjoys quality time with his family, the local splendour of food and wine, and writing in his home library.
All are welcome to come along to this free event. No booking is required. Book sales and signing will be available, and all attendees will go into the prize draw to win a copy of The Passage of Conquest.
