Lianne is an artist who works with a multiple discipline approach to create unique bespoke pieces. Drawing from her background as an international artist and graphic designer she crafts a distinct style, melding together strands of computer-based design and traditional art; amplifying a personal touch within her works. With a love of New Zealand and a story to tell, Lianne’s works are drawn from her heart and made with love.
The Experimental 200s Through a series of experimental works, Lianne explores what it is that makes us Kiwi’s. Using different medium she embodies the make do and make it work attitude we have inherited from our forebears. Lockdown amplified this process as supplies were scarce and Lianne utilized what was in her workshop supply cupboard to the maximum, continuing to do so long after lockdown.
Lianne has been a regular exhibitor at the Taupō Museum for many years and her Tiki prints are very popular items in the Museum Shop. Lianne’s last exhibition at Taupō Museum in the summer of 2019 was a near sell-out.
Lianne hopes that the community will join her for the official opening morning tea for The Experimental 200s.
